For my scrappy friends I wanted to share some up close scans of the Open Road Collection. These cards have some really cool images on them that I totally overlooked until I saw this layout from Nancy Damiano. She used that adorable card with the 3 cameras...which sent me off hunting to find where she got it. I found it in the journaling cards which I totally overlooked the first time viewing this new line.
Those of you who follow me, know that I scan all my scrapbook supplies so that I can file them on my computer in order to locate them in my storage drawers. Here's an overview of my system. So I thought I would post my scans so that you could see close ups of the cards...front/back.
But first, I wanted to share with you my newest system for filing my Project Life cards. I found these cute little wood boxes at Michaels (I think I might paint them with black chalkboard paint). They come as a set of 4 varying sizes for only $5.99 but, of course, use a 50% off coupon and get all 4 for only $3. The larger ones are perfect for the 4x6 cards and the medium sizes are good for 3x4 cards, like these Crate Paper cards I'm showing today. Here's how I file them now...by vendor. For now I've decided it's the easiest way to find the card I want. Also, I have a ton of Becky Higgins cards, so for now I only have a few of her collections in these boxes. The other ones are in another container.
The boxes fit on my shelf right behind where I work and I can prop up some of my Jenni Bowlin punches behind them. :-)
Now, back to the Open Road Collection cards. This is what I found on the Crate Paper Blog, but the images are pretty small.
So...here are my scans that I hope will give you a better view of the cards.
