What a wonderful day we had last month on Sandy and Deanna's boat cruising Newport Harbor! The weather was absolutely PERFECT. It also just happened to be the last day of Summer...so I decided to create this layout.
Here's an overview video about the layout explaining products used and other things about the layout.
As I mention in my video, the circle element with the pictures started out as the thank you card I created to send to Sandy and Deanna for the lovely day. Well, when I finished it I liked it so much I wished I didn't have to mail it away :-) . So I went right back to work while everything was still fresh in my mind (hindsight, I just should have created two from the beginning) and I recreated just the front of the card in a bit larger 6x6 size. My initial intent was to slip it into a pocket in my Project Life album, but then decided I'd use it on a layout instead. It's been kicking around in my mind for a few a weeks and I finally got to work and finished it this morning.
The title was created with American Crafts Hardcover Red Foil for "Last Day of" and "Summer" is from Heidi Swapp's resist mistable chipboard stickers. But instead of misting them, I wanted to keep them white. To bring out the dots on the letters I used Liquid Pearls.
Here's more of a close up of the circle file (I included one picture of each person on the boat). I used the same file I created for my layout SUMMER FUN but I reduced the size to 6x6 in the Cameo software before I cut it.
